Pick a region in the search and you will only see homes that are actually available. Every home has its own calendar, so you can check whether your week is free before you write.
Send an enquiry directly to the owner with your dates and the number of guests. The owner replies, you agree the price, and the rental contract is available in the booking. Payment is between you and the owner — Vakano connects you and takes no money for the guest stay.
Most homes are rented by the night or by the week, and many have a minimum stay of a few nights. Weeks 27–32 are the busiest in summer; June, September and the autumn break are good choices if you want more quiet and a lower price.
